Practical Help

If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with Cancer, it can be a very difficult and traumatic time, and even more so if you are living abroad and you have to manage different systems and overcome the potential language barrier. It is important to not give up hope and to remember that there are local support groups in the community here on the French Riviera that can help you. Below are some of the key local organisations that offer counselling, assistance and advice, as well as classes that can help patients and their loved ones through this stressful time.
A French charity that provides help and support for anyone living with Cancer and their friends and family. There are three drop in centres in Nice, Antibes and Cannes-Mandelieu that provide support and counselling.

Exists to help anglophone people with Cancer, their friends and families, in the 06 region and in the Var.

The ISIS Association’s mission is to optimise the overall care of patients at the Azure Centre for Cancer where they can avail of services to improve their quality of life.
